Thanksgiving is coming up next week and the decorations are going to be the only thing resembling the Fall season. After this weekend the temperatures drop to miserable and don’t look to come back to tolerable again. We’ve got constant freezing temperatures, rain, and some snow in the extended forecast into December.

What Does the Idaho Weather Forecast Look Like Heading to Thanksgiving

There’s a little good news for those who hate cold weather: we have 2 more days of pretty nice temperatures before the freeze comes to stay. In fact, the temperatures rise to nearly 60 before dipping to the 30s for the remainder of the extended forecast.

Thursday has a predicted high of 49 degrees and the day will be filled with clouds. Friday will be the day to get outside and do anything you want to do before the indoor season begins. The high will be 57 degrees and we should even see some sunlight.

After Friday, it’s all downhill. Saturday only gets up to 51 degrees and there’s rain in the forecast. Sunday drops down to 44 for the high and we won’t see anything higher than the mid-40s through Thanksgiving.

Following Thanksgiving, Black Friday starts a temperature trend where we don’t get out of the 30s for the highs and lows become frigid every night with every night predicted to dip into the low to mid-20s into December.
